Personal accounts

HealthSpace is part of the NHS suite of digital products. It complements NHS Choices by offering a super-secure account for patients and their clinicians to access, store and amend elements of their personal medical information.

The service is developing fast and plans to offer users:

• access to their Summary Care Records and other personal medical information such as test results and x-rays
• secure communications tools through which patients and their clinicians can liaise and exchange information on-line, including pre-consultation questionnaires
• the ability for users to book GP appointments on-line and order repeat prescriptions
  a suite of self-care services which will enable users to track, store and share self-monitored information in areas such as diet and fitness
