Overview

Welcome to Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust

From 1 July 2011, Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust came into being, and our aim is to provide high quality health services delivered wherever possible close to where people live  - at home, in local clinics and at community hospitals.

We provide a range of community-based health services for adults and children in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and some services to people in surrounding areas too. Our services range from district nursing and health visiting, to physiotherapy and specialist community clinics.

We want to work with local people and communities to develop innovative services that best meet people’s needs for care and treatment, and to help them stay healthy.

Departments and services

We run a lot of community health services that you can access either in your own home or community, or community hospital.  We also run specialist services from other locations in the county. These services include:



  • Adults & older people

  • Babies, children & families

  • Post-op care & rehabilitation

  • Routine treatment

  • Specialist treatment & long term conditions

  • Teenagers & young adults

  • Urgent or out of hours treatment
