East London NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health and community services.

East London NHS Foundation Trust provides a wide range of community and inpatient services to children, young people, adults of working age, older adults and forensic services to the City of London, Hackney, Newham and Tower Hamlets. We provide mental health and wellbeing services in Bedfordshire and Luton.


Forensic Services and the forensic personality disorder service are also provided to Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, and Waltham Forest.


We provide Psychological Therapies in Newham and Richmond, Luton and Bedfordshire.


We provide Speech and Language Therapies to young people in Barnet and Drug and Alcohol services in Redbridge


The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME adult outpatient services serves North London and the South of England.


Our specialist Mother and Baby Psychiatric Unit receives referrals from London and the South East of England.

CQC Formally Announce ELFT Outstanding Rating

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has today (01/09/2024) published their inspection report on our Trust. The Trust was rated Outstandin in the report. We are the only mental health and community trust in London and the East Of England to have been awarded an 'Outstanding' rating. This outcome is a reflection of the skills and passion that all of our staff demonstrate every day and the great care that they provide to our patients and local community. There is still a lot of work to do and the report has spurred us on to continue to imporove. Over the coming months we will update you on the ways that we are doing this.
