Referrals to our services can be made through your GP.

Some of our child and adolescent mental health services take self-referrals:

  1. Durham and Darlington CAMHS Crisis and Liaison 8am-10pm Tel: 0191 4415733.

  2. Teesside CAMHS Crisis and Liaison 24/7 Tel: 03000 132000 (option 6).

More and more people are able to receive the care they need in or near their own homes and we continue to develop and strengthen our community services so that they receive the appropriate level of support.

Some people need to spend time in hospital and our focus here is on making sure that individuals receive effective, therapeutic care.  We have just under 1,000 inpatient beds.
