Our staff work hard to provide the best health care to our local community.
As well as providing a full range of general hospital services, our Trust offers specialist care at a regional level in urology, renal medicine, cancer, plastic surgery and ophthalmology.
We manage four hospitals – Hertford County (Hertford), the Lister (Stevenage), Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (Northwood) and the New QEII (Welwyn Garden City).
Each ward at the Lister hospital, QEII hospital and the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre displays a 'staffing status' poster, which shows the planned and actual numbers of staff on shift each day.
The posters are displayed on each ward where they can clearly be seen by patients, visitors and staff. Find out more about safer staffing levels on our wards.
