Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust provides a full range of general hospital services to patients in Plymouth, East Cornwall and South West Devon.
The Trust also offers a range of highly specialist treatments, such as heart surgery and cardiology services, kidney transplants, neurosurgery and pancreatic surgery. The Trust provides services for patients at the following sites:
• Derriford Hospital. More than 48,000 people pass through the main entrance of this hospital in a week. Derriford Hospital is the second largest bus terminal in Plymouth, beaten to first place only by the central bus station
• The Royal Eye Infirmary (from February 2013 based at Derriford Hospital)
• The Child Development Centre, Scott Business Park
The Trust also manages community midwifery services in Plymouth and The Radiology Academy.
