As the first NHS Foundation Trust in Beds, Herts and Bucks - and rated the best hospital in the East of England – the L&D Hospital has led the NHS in patient safety since 2004 with some of the lowest infection rates in the country. We have been voted the 8th best NHS employer in the UK and are situated at Junction 11 of the M1 with convenient air, rail and bus links.
